We measure our success through a combination of assignment completion rate and client satisfaction, this only being achieved if our process is transparent and secures the best available talent with the utmost efficiency.

We target our greatest experience and market knowledge in the places that help to maximise success. Each assignment therefore is Partner lead, from the initial Candidate contact, to offer management and post placement feedback.

Each candidate is validated for their skills, their culture fit and their motivation. In this way, we address the questions: Can they do the job? Can they do it in your environment? Importantly, do they have the motivation and resilience to do it again?

Carl is the founder of BrethertonDay Executive Search and heads the Industry & Commerce vertical. Having started his career working with two of the largest global executive search firms focused on functional roles within finance, over the years he has morphed to work with a broad set of clients in a variety of sectors to include B-B and B-C recruiting both for leadership and succession across the business. This work has been both domestic and international. Interested in human factors and performance, he has helped to build a platform that offers clients a robust validation process to measure skills, culture fit, and resilience underlined with a fee structure that mitigates risk. In this way, putting success and the client at the centre of everything BrethertonDay does and is proud of the continued success rate of assignment completion. Jackie is a Senior Partner and heads BrethertonDay’ s Financial Services Practice Working extensively, but not exclusively, in the Insurance, Building Society and Banking sectors, Jackie has a proven track record of success in sourcing the very best talent for her clients.
Typically handling C-Suite assignments, incorporating senior management (Functional Heads) and mission critical roles, Jackie works closely with her clients, ensuring the right cultural fit, looking at succession planning, gender diversity and ethnicity, as well as the strategic plan and future vision of an organisation. Jackie thinks outside the box and as well as looking at seasoned talent, she also possesses the ability to find the up and coming talent.
Jackie is known in the market for her enthusiasm in supporting candidates actively seeking their next opportunity and will go above and beyond to support these individuals.

Having initially been one of the founders, Melissa returned to the business in 2019 having taken time out for her family. Melissa is a generalist and supports a portfolio of clients across different business segments. She has many years of experience providing coaching, mentoring and executive recruitment services for her clients predominantly in the UK. Dushyant Arya is a Partner and heads BrethertonDay in Asia.
Dushyant has a decade of experience in the automotive and financial service sector. He has worked for an Indian automotive company, a start-up recruitment company, and European and American auto Leasing Companies. In his last assignment Dushyant was working with GE Capital as Assistant Vice President and Regional Sales Manager focusing on the auto leasing business for the western region in India before he transitioned into Executive Search.
Known for his tenacity and detailed thought process, he is highly regarded as an expert in the area of business development, research, executive search process and getting the right passive senior talent for the organization.
Dushyant is a graduate in Management from Mumbai University and has done his MBA in Marketing from ITM Navi Mumbai

Dinesh is a Senior Partner, BrethertonDay Asia.
An engineer from IIT Mumbai 1972 batch, is a seasoned veteran in senior level executive search. He was previously the Industries Practice Group Head for a global executive search firm. Dinesh has over 40 years of rich experience in the manufacturing sector, having contributed significantly to the machine tools, packaging, and tool room industry, and pioneered the introduction to spark erosion, and CNC wire cut machines in India. His key competence lies in Sales & Marketing, Manufacturing and General Management.
He has been a visiting faculty for MBA programs in Pune and Mumbai on subjects like Industrial Marketing and Strategic Management. He has lived and worked in Mumbai, Pune, Japan, and USA, in his career. He has a knack of selecting the right talent in various line and staff functions from R&D, Sales, Finance to CXO levels. He believes that the right “life orientation” combined with functional expertise, grit and value-centric approach can convert into great performance.
